Charms and Curses – A War in Scarlet: Chapter 15

Will the Heroes of Awesome break up after facing their latest challenges? It sure looks that way in our latest Dungeons and Dragons adventure.

It seems like there’s no shortage of castles with weird magic around this map-making kit we set out to find. We also keep finding themselves locked in said castles and fighting for our lives. The difference in this castle is that we’re fighting as much with each other as we are with the powers in the castle. I also think we’ve have more Critical Hits AND Critical Fails in this episode than in all the others combined.

There’s always some secret way to break curses but I’m still not sure I understand how these curses were supposed to be broken. I’m sure it was in the interviews somewhere, but you may have noticed that there weren’t any interviews in this episode. We had a technical problem which unfortunately caused all of our interview audio to be erased. I tried to save them but it just wasn’t happening. These are some of the challenges of a no-budget production like this. Sometimes something happens and there’s no way to recover from it. But there are some really great moments in this one so I hope you all enjoy it anyway. At over 100 minutes I’m pretty sure putting interviews in would have been crazy and put it well over the 2 hour mark, so… blessing in disguise?

But seriously, some one tell me how to break these curses. Dungeons and Dragons can be frustrating.
